Isabel is a native of Melbourne Australia. Her father was Australian, and her mother Swiss. She grew up with her family within Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a small town in Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. Sister Nina was also a student at a school that included children of First Nations as well as other ethnic groups. Isabel is currently living with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel began acting in school. Alongside being a drama student, she studied Perdekamp Emotional Method at Queensland University of Technology. Her agent discovered herself in the year 2002. She had never tried to audition for a part before. She was a part-time auditioner for Home and Away (1988). They felt that she wasn't suitable for the role, but were sufficiently impressed to create a different role to her Tasha. After three years in the role, she was given her first TV role and was awarded a Logie Award. In 2008 Isabel relocated from New York to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough role came from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then, she has been in a variety of US as well as Australian films. In addition, she has won numerous awards. Isabel was recently seen in Bosh & Rockit a fast-emerging Australian classic and the soon to be released, the film Lunacy. Isabel wrapped Sons of Summer recently and is in the process of pre-production for Marie Curie's role in Radiant, a film by the award-winning director/writer Annika Glac.
